POSITION SUMMARY

We are currently seeking a Soldering Technician with SMD and through-hole soldering experience to build circuit card assemblies.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

· Manually install electronic components according to knowledge of unit being assembled by following written directions and/or drawings and/or schematics.

· Create soldered connections to applicable quality standards.

· Solder while using a stereo microscope (Amscope or similar).

· Replace and/or repair faulty components.

· Work in compliance with OSHA and MSDS safety policies.

· Adhere to company practices regarding safety and control of electrostatic discharge (ESD).

Requirements

Qualifications/Experience

· One to three years SMD experience or equivalent training.

· IPC-610 certification is a plus.

· Knowledge of SMD component identification.

· Ability to read and follow documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals written in English.

· Excellent eye-hand coordination

· Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

· Continuous improvement mindset
